Application Procedure

  1. Go to the Applicant Portal
  2. Create a user profile
  3. Under Programme Selection, choose “MPhil in Violent Histories and Repair”
  4. Complete the application from Personal Information to Payment and Agreement
  5. Upload the required documents
  6. Submit your application

Closing Dates

  • South African applicants: 31 October
  • International applicants: 31 August

Admission Requirements

  • An Honours degree (NQF level 8) or equivalent degree in a field of study within the Humanities, Social Sciences or law.
  • Any international equivalent of the above qualifications.
  • A minimum average mark of 65% for the qualification.

For the qualification above, you will have to provide evidence that you:

  • Have conducted qualitative research or had a theoretical research component as part of your preceding qualification.
