Professor Wyngaards presented his argument for this lecture in three parts. First, he explored one thread of how whiteness is constructed theologically. Secondly, he expanded on his own use of the language of repair by deepening his engagement with the Jewish philosopher Peter Ochs. Lastly, he explored some of the reasons why the language of repair may respond to problems created by our questions for a new society and outlined elements of where he thinks the work of repair needs to take us.
